Participation at the Vendor Fair 2010:

On 11th November 2010, by invitation, we participated at the Vendor's Fair 2010 for the second time organized by the United States Mission to Nepal, the Community Liaison Office at the Phora Durbar Recreational Compound, Kathmandu. There were many handicrafts stores from Kathmandu taking part in the fair, although Statue Maker's Shop was the only one participant with beautiful STATUES as the visitors commented. One of the most important persons who visited our stall was US Ambassador to Nepal Mr. Scott DeLisi. Many other foreign delegates visited the fair and it was a grand success. The fair was quite fruitful as many of the visitors praised our work and appreciated it a lot and wanted to visit our store in Boudha. We were really happy and proud to display the high quality statues and other dharma items that we make to all those visitors and we do hope that they will visit our store to find more of their favorite statues and dharma items.

Participants: Mr. Saroj Shakya & Mrs. Ritu Shakya
